SA Short Course State Swimming Championships 2020

Clovercrest Swimming Club had 18 swimmers competing at this year’s 2020 Short Course State Swimming Championships:-

13 and under team:

Alison, Piper, Ebony, Connor, Savannah, Zac, Lilly Meg, Svetlana, Daniel

14 and over team:

Amber, Hannah, Jasmin, Lachlan, Stephanie, Ethan, Abigael, Emily

Over the two weekends, our swimmers competed in a total of 105 events, achieving a very impressive 87% PB rate.

• 8 Swimmers had 100% PB rates
• There were 38 top ten finishes
• 17 medals- 2 gold, 9 silver, 6 bronzes
• 9 SA State records
• 10 Club records
• Number of teeth lost- 1
•  

All swimmers did Clovercrest proud, with all the hard work paying off and results showing. There was fantastic team camaraderie, with every swimmer a valued and supportive team member.

Thanks to all the parents who officiated, team managed, drove, and cheered for all the swimmers, not just your own! It was fantastic to hear so much cheering in the stands.

Last, but not least, a big thank you to Jill and John for all their efforts, hard work, and support of all the swimmers over the past two weekends. Now onto Long Course!
