2109 Short Course Medallists

2019 Short Course State Championships saw our biggest participation for many years. We had 25 individual swimmers competing, with another 11 swimmers joining us for relay day. 

From the individual swims, we had an 86% PB rate, with 11 swimmers finishing top 10 in their age groups, and 25 medals. 

Congratulations to our medal winners- Jasmin, Matthew, Stephanie, Olivia, Amber, and Bree. 

100% PB rates were achieved by Alison B, Matt, Bree, Donny, Jaz, Bridget, Steph, D'Arby, Harper, Zac, Lily, Jackson, Cooper, Summer, Abby, and Daniel. Every swimmer competing achieved at least a 50% PB rate, many on some recent times.

Relay day saw some more great swimming, with lots of swimmers swimming up age groups and holding their own well. 

We finished off the week with a celebratory dinner at the Bridgeway Hotel. Many thanks to our major sponsor for their support! 

Thanks must go to Jill and Pete for their tireless efforts supporting our swimmers throughout the week, and to the parents who officiated and acted as team managers as well as driving children to and from Marion every day.
