Short Course State Championships
Wednesday the 19th July ws the first of five days of racing at the Swimming SA Short Course State Championships, which saw 10 Clovercrest swimmers aged from 9 to 16 race with the states best.
After months of hard work the Clovercrest swimmers raced extemely well with a very high Personal Best rate.
There were some stand out swims from Jasmin competing in her first State Chamiponships claiming 3 individual medals; 2 Silvers and a Bronze along with 2 Golds with her relay team mates.
Olivia, although only 10 racing in her second Championships in the 11 & Under age group broke the 50m free 9/10y.o club record in a time of 31.32 on day 2 of competition. Olivia then went on to win Bronze in the 200m Free in a Club record time of 2:27.62
Day 5 saw the swimmers let their hair down or in some case up with the fun of relay day.

January 18-22nd sees 9 of our swimmers ranging from ages 16 to 9 compete in Swimming SA Long Course State Chamiponships.
They join swimmers from 26 South Australian clubs and 30 visiting interstate clubs.
